During the twenty five years of
practicing dentistry we have recognized the need to re-evaluate and reconsider
our practice philosophy. We've asked ourselves if clients are being
treated as more than 'just mouths' and if they are truly benefiting from our
services. Here's what we came up with:
- We see one patient at a time.
If you are frustrated with having to share the dentist's time with other
clients - you're in for a nice surprise. There's no double booking - our
one on one practice means Dr. Cryderman spends your appointment time
with you - and only you - allowing us to give you our undivided attention and
focus.
- Mutual trust and respect must exist.
How can you feel good about your treatment choices when you're not
sure if you even trust the team who's working in your mouth? The bottom
line is - you can't. We understand that it's through sharing information, hearing and acknowledging an individuals needs, that trust and
respect can develop. There's no lecturing or arm twisting - just open
and honest communication.
- Treating causes - not symptoms - guide our treatment
plans.
In order for dentistry to last
- and serve a client well- underlying issues must be addressed. We are
reticent to gloss over cracks, knowing that down the road surprises
await - leading to more dentistry and frustration for the client.
We won't start any procedure until we have established the cause behind
treatment needs and explained them in full to our clients.
Ultimately it is both the
client and dental team who decides on treatment - based on shared information
and dental health goals.
